The Heimalm Hut, also a gold panning site, stands at about 1500 m above sea level, next to the mid station of the Hochalm lift. All day long, you will be able to enjoy a selection of mouth-watering treats including many regional specialties, homemade cakes and tarts, as well as colourful ice cream sundaes.

Hochalm Hut – summit terminal
The Hochalm Hut is located at about 1800 m above sea level, just a 5-minute walk above the summit terminal of the Hochalm lift. Sit down and relax. Watch the birds of prey in flight. Enjoy the delicious food in a warm, friendly atmosphere. The Hochalm has remained true to its reputation for almost 40 years. Those culinary delights amid a unique setting, here next to the Bird-of-Prey Station, are sure to be a special highlight of your stay in Salzburg. Regional dishes, along with a scenic terrace that affords overwhelming views of the surrounding mountains, are guaranteed to captivate young and old alike.

Kreuzboden Hut
The Kreuzboden Hut, with its magical sunny terrace, promises adventure and relaxation for big and small. It stands at 1300 m above sea level and is easy to reach both from the mid station of the Hochalm lift or from the valley itself. You will be treated to homemade specialties and regional dishes, such as elderberry blossom juice, a hearty country platter, sandwiches with country bacon and cheese, fruit cakes and strudels.
