With the 6-seat cabin railway you reach the gold washing place at the middle station or the one at the central station near the grab bird control room in a few minutes.

These stations are the starting point for many relaxing walks with a wonderful view on the group of gold mountains, Großglockner, low Tauern (Niedere Tauern), stone Mees (Steinernes Mees), high king (Hochkönig) and roof stone (Dachstein).

With these beautiful hiking tours you can get to know the plants-, animal- and mineral world of the 'Hohen Tauern'.
The mountain station 'Hochalm' is the target when you visit our grab bird control room.

The normally shy owls and other grab birds you can watch here very closely   before the impresssive scenery of the national park high Tauern ('Hohe Tauern'). Behaviour and life habits of these partially in their existence threatened animals are described in detail in approx. 40 minutes by the professional falconer Peter Krizan.  By means of the forest or the mineral track you reach the gold washing place with automatic gold scrubbers.
